Coca-Cola has launched a new on-pack promotion as part of its annual Christmas campaign which, this year, is pushing the message, ‘The World Needs More Santas’.
Between 7 November and 2 January, shoppers can enter a free prize draw via the Coca-Cola app by scanning QR codes on festive-themed cans and bottles of Coca-Cola Original Taste and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar. They will find out instantly if they’ve won one of thousands of £50 shopping vouchers.
The limited-edition packs feature eye-catching festive designs with Santa graphics and decorations to help create a sense of Christmas magic in stores. Convenience retailers can dial this up further with festive Coke-branded POS materials, available from My.CCEP.com now.
This year’s campaign will also see the Coca Cola Christmas Truck back on TV screens, in a new AI-generated interpretation of the original advert.
The brand is also unveiling a new festive digital AI experience for shoppers, letting them create a shareable snow globe animation based on a personal memory, by scanning the QR code on a Christmas bottle or can of Coca-Cola.
Furthermore, the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour will be back visiting towns and cities across the country. The tour’s schedule has yet to be released. Coca-Cola has pledged to donate the equivalent of one meal via FareShare for every person that attends.
