Clearspring has added four new Matcha Blends to its Organic Japanese tea bag range.
The new flavours include Matcha Ginger, Matcha Three Mint, Matcha Genmaicha and Matcha Turmeric. All are available now in packs of 20 sachets with an RSP of £3.69. Packs are available in cases of four from a number of specialist wholesalers including GreenCity Wholefoods and Highland Wholefoods.
Clearspring’s entire tea range is Organic, non-GM, free from added sugar and free from any artificial ingredients and preservatives.
The tea bag range is also getting a packaging refresh. Alongside a bright and clear new design-style, the packaging is entirely sustainable. The tea bags are compostable and non-GM, the string is made of organic cotton and the outer carton is made of recyclable FSC certified paperboard and printed using vegetable-based ink.
Maria Dawson, Director at Clearspring, said: “The demand for Matcha has grown immensely over the past few years. Our matcha blends have been launched to meet this demand, whilst adding something exciting with new flavour combinations.”
Dawson said the launch was “another big milestone” for the family-owned business in its mission towards sustainable packaging.
She added: “Sustainability is an increasingly important factor for shoppers, and we want to do everything we can to meet this challenge, whilst continuing to innovate and deliver great tasting products.”
