Japanese whisky distillery Chichibu has unveiled the seventh annual release of its London Edition.
Created exclusively for the UK market, the 2024 edition features a striking label that includes an innovative glow-in-the-dark element.
This is the first edition of the series since Chichibu announced its partnership with UK distributor Speciality Brands.
The blend of approximately 10 casks is predominantly matured in ex-bourbon barrels, which impart a gentle sweetness and fruitiness, with an additional red wine cask to add structure and balance. This maturation process results in a whisky that is “complex, harmonious, and elegant, showcasing the skill and craftsmanship of the legendary distillery”.
Approximately 1,920 bottles of Chichibu The London Edition 2024 (70cl, ABV 50.5%) are available, RSP £210.
