Corinthian Brands has introduced a newcomer to the growing coconut water market. Coco Sun coconut water is a still coconut water drink enhanced with natural fruit extracts, described as “providing ‘a taste of the tropics’ captured in a can”.
Coco Sun is being introduced to the market in a choice of three flavours: Coco Sun coconut water Regular, With Natural Lime Flavour and With Natural Mango Flavour.
Each 330ml can (rrp 79p) contains no artificial flavours or colours, is sweetened by natural sources and has less than 70 calories. It is gluten free, dairy free and suitable for vegans and vegetarians. The product has a long shelf life and can be stored ambient or chilled.
Paul Burton, Director of Corinthian Brands, said Coco Sun was “strongly preferred” in developmental testing and is clearly a fan. “Coco Sun coconut water is one of the first, and in my opinion, the best tasting and most attractively packaged coconut water drinks in a can available in the UK.”
The launch will be supported with a full scale national social media programme and a soon to be announced high profile TV sponsorship campaign.
Coco Sun coconut water is distributed by Corinthian Brands, and is available shrink-wrapped in 24 x 330ml cans.
