Cathedral City has launched a new range of high-protein, half-fat cheddar products.
The new cheese is the brand’s biggest NPD launch this year and is available in four formats: block, sliced, grated, and minis.
The range targets millennials, Gen Z’ers and health and fitness fans. According to recent research, Gen Z and millennials now prioritise spending on healthy foods, and healthy eating has emerged as an affordable and accessible source of pleasure.
The launch comes with the UK protein market expected to reach a value of more than £500m by 2029.
