Premier Foods is launching three new flavours to its Cadburys Mini Rolls range. The new range will now include delicious ice cream inspired flavours; Toffee Ripple, Choc Mint and Raspberry Ripple.
The company is also encouraging consumers to eat the new range straight from the freezer making them perfect a summer treat. The new serving suggestion of trying Mini Rolls frozen will be communicated above the line this summer with significant above the line spend to build awareness of this new usage occasion . The existing popular Milk Chocolate variant will also feature a ‘Try me frozen’ flash on pack to tap into new usage occasions for existing buyers of Mini Rolls.
Darryl Curtis, Cadbury Cakes Marketing Controller at Premier Foods says, “The cake sector enjoys strong sales during key seasonal events, and we have identified summer as a strong area of growth potential especially with Mini rolls and this new usage occasion”.
The Cadbury Mini Rolls Ice Cream range will be in store from April in time for summer sales and will have an rrp of £1. This range will be sold in cases of 12, with 6 Mini Rolls per pack.
