Mondelez is looking to scare up some seasonal Halloween sales with the launch Cadbury Ghooost Egg, a Cadbury chocolate egg filled with gooey white fondant. That’ll be a Creme Egg minus the yellow goo then.
The new packs offer customers the chance to instantly win a family ticket to Alton Towers Scarefest if they find one of 50 hidden eggs containing a yolk and winning coupon.
Joining Ghooost Egg on the spooky shelves will be Cadbury Crunchy Spider, which is back for 2016. Featuring Cadbury chocolate filled with green crispy bites, it was the third most popular sku in the run-up to Halloween last year, worth £376,000.
Both products can be ordered from 1st September. Cadbury Ghooost Egg (rrp 62p) will be available in outers of 48, with Crunchy Spider (rrp 65p) in outers of 26.
