Cadbury hopes to make splash with new tablet

Bar of Dairy Milk Puddles

Cadbury Dairy Milk is launching the first ever tablet containing a soft-centred flavoured filling – Cadbury Dairy Milk Puddles.

Available now, as a 90g tablet (rrp £1.49), the new variant features a mould made up of rippled puddle shapes filled with a flowing hazelnut or mint flavoured filling.

Mondelēz International says Dairy Milk Puddles is set to bring growth to the chocolate tablet category this year with 62% of consumers stating that it would be an incremental purchase in testing, and that its shape and filling drove likeability.

Matthew Williams, Marketing Director at Mondelēz International, believes it will be a big hit with both customers and retailers.

The launch will be supported by a £4m marketing campaign in May, including TV, PR, out of home & digital activity.
