Bowyers has launched a range of party food snack bags and larger tubs under the Snackerz brand. Three varieties are available: mini egg bites, cocktail sausages and mini sausage rolls.
The snack bags are aimed at commuters, drivers and anyone who eats at their desk. Mini egg bites and cocktail sausages are available in packs of seven, while the mini sausage rolls are offered in sixes.
Tubs contain either 12 mini sausage rolls, 18 mini egg bites or 20 cocktail sausages.
The move reflects growing consumer demand for protein-based snacks, said a Bowyers spokesperson. “Research shows that 41% of ‘eat now occasions’ are snacking of which 75-89% of shoppers snack 3 to 3.5 times a week, meaning the launch of the ‘grab bags’ is providing the solution.”
