Border Biscuits has launched its best-selling Dark Chocolate Ginger biscuit in a new snack bar format.
The new Dark Chocolate Gingers Bars are initially exclusive to Sainsbury’s but will roll out in the wholesale and convenience channels later this year in cases of 14 x 120g multipacks (RSP to be confirmed). Each multipack contains five bars.
Bars, which look a lot bigger in the publicity shot than their official 24g weight suggests, each contain 113 calories.
The product is the first snack bar from the Lanark-based manufacturer. The launch comes on the back of its Dark Chocolate Ginger biscuit officially being crowned the UK’s favourite chocolate covered ginger biscuit with sales reaching over £5m.
