Boost Drinks’ CEO and founder reflects as the brand celebrates 20 years

It is a big year for Boost Drinks, leading functional drinks challenger brand, as it celebrates its 20th birthday. During the last two decades, Boost has worked hard to ensure that retailers are at the heart of everything it does, with its ‘We Love Local’ ethos continuing to remain front and centre.

To celebrate the milestone, CEO & Founder Simon Gray reflected on the incredible past two decades and mused on the future of the ever-adapting soft drinks sector.

Speaking of the brand’s success over the past 20 years, Simon commented: “I don’t get much chance to reflect but it is safe to say we’ve had an incredible 20 years and I am very proud of what we’ve achieved.

“We are very grateful to our loyal customers, employees and suppliers – the people who have been with us on the way – and proud that over the years, we’ve become a business that people want to work both with and for. I have always been a forward-looking type of person, and I am confident our best years are still to come!”

Speaking of the upcoming 20th birthday plans and the future of the leading drinks company, Gray continued: “To turn 20 is certainly no mean feat, and one we are extremely proud of. We will certainly be celebrating in style this year and have a lot of exciting plans to share very soon.

“Looking ahead, we’ll be focusing on more of the same – to increase store distribution, reach consumers who are yet to try us, launch new products into both high-growth and emerging categories, and explore even more overseas markets.

“We have also recently entered into a partnership with Rio Drinks and have taken on full responsibility for sales, marketing and distribution for the brand. This is a really exciting opportunity to work with a soft drinks brand with such a strong following and fan base, and drive forward an exciting new chapter and campaign over the coming years.”
