Scottish independent gin producer Boë Gin has added a tropical dimension to its portfolio with the launch of new Boë Passion Gin.
Described as “vibrant in colour as well as taste”, Boë Passion blends citrus peel and spice with Boë’s premium Scottish London Dry Gin, to give a “delicious kick of passion fruit”. Boë said the gin was ideal for cocktails, or simply served over ice with tonic and a twist of orange.
The launch forms a central element of the company’s new UK sales and marketing strategy. With further details to be revealed in the coming months, plans are underway to build the brand in the off-trade this summer.
Andrew Richardson, Director of Boë Gin, said: “Our Master Distiller has worked hard to create a new product that is both amazing to look at and delicious to sip. With passion fruit a popular flavour in cocktails such as a Porn Star Martini, it just made sense for us to create gin with the fruit.”
The Boë range also includes Boë Scottish Gin and Boë Violet Gin. The distiller also produces several gin liqueurs: Boë Peach & Hibiscus, Boë Scottish Bramble and Boë Spiced Orange.
Boë Passion Gin (70cl, ABV 41.5%) is available now with an RSP of £29.99 from specialist wholesalers including Inverarity Morton and LWC Drinks.
