Organic food supplier Biona has launched a number of products in the cooking ingredients and natural sweeteners categories, which will be available to retailers from March onwards.
A new range of organic and convenient cooking pastes includes 130g jars of garlic paste, ginger paste and a combined garlic and ginger paste, all with an RSP of £3.19. With demand for pre-prepared cooking pastes on the increase, the range is targeted at time-poor consumers who don’t have the time to peel and chop.
Biona is also rolling out three high quality natural maple syrups, which are rich in flavour and 100% organic. The new range consists of a 330ml bottle of Amber syrup and a 330ml bottle of Dark syrup, both with an RSP of £6.79, as well as a one-litre bottle of the Amber (RSP £23.29). Made from Canadian maple, the fully vegan products are aimed at the growing number of consumers looking for natural syrups and sweeteners.
One of the UK’s first organic companies, Biona is a family-run business with over 40 years’ experience supplying UK and international retail partners and has the largest UK organic offering, with over 500 products in categories such as bakery, ambient, pasta, oils and fruit juices.
