Ben & Jerry’s has unveiled Spice & All Things N’ice – a new winter addition featuring creamy caramel ice cream and real gingerbread cookie pieces.
Available now in 500ml tubs with an RSP of £5.49, Spice & All Things N’ice taps into the trend for ‘heat and sweet’ flavours.
The company is also using part of the proceeds from the new flavour to set up a fund to get refugee entrepreneurs started in the business world. The cooperative fund created from the launch will be owned and managed by graduates of the ‘Ice Academy’, which is a business training, mentoring and employment programme set up by Ben & Jerry’s and The Entrepreneurial Refugee Network.
Christina Dunn, Ben & Jerry’s UK Country Business Lead, commented: “We’ve taken a traditional winter flavour to create new Spice & All Things N’ice, which taps into the trend for flavours with a kick. Not only will it warm bowls throughout the colder months, it will also warm hearts by supporting a worthwhile cause. We think it’s often the simplest of ideas that can be the sweetest… and what’s sweeter than giving refugees the tools they need to unlock their potential?”
Part of the Ben & Jerry’s Fairtrade family, Spice & All Things N’ice uses Fairtrade-certified ingredients.
