Aryzta has unveiled its 2018 festive range, with a 15-strong line-up which comprises a variety of savoury and sweet options – both hot and cold – that will be available from mid-October. RSPs range from 50p to £3.50.
Shoppers will be able to treat themselves to the Gingerbread Muffin (RSP £1.25/125g), delicately spiced with ginger cinnamon and nutmeg, filled with a light vanilla treacle frosting and topped with icing sugar and the Mocha Muffin (pictured) (RSP £1.25/115g), a moist coffee-flavoured chocolate chip muffin with a smooth deep-fill coffee frosting and decorated with a mocha chocolate bean and icing sugar.
New addition to the range, the Vegan Saag Aloo Lattice Slice (£1.50/170g), is a generously-filled potato & spinach slice, blended with aromatic herbs and spices to invoke the flavours of India, and enveloped in a puff pastry case.
The Fruit and Nut Loaf (RSP £2.25/550g) also joins the range with a new and improved recipe, having recently been awarded a 2018 Great Taste Award by the Guild of Fine Food. Made from traditional French flour, the loaf is filled with sultanas, raisins and hazelnuts, lightly spiced with cinnamon and finished with three decorative cuts for an authentic look and flavour. Great Taste Award judges praised its “lovely crust” and “crispy texture”, calling it a “luxurious, beautifully baked artisan loaf”.
