Independent retailer Jigneshkumar Chauhan has opened a new Spar store on Stirling Street, Airdrie.
The store, which previously operated with the Day Today fascia, now features a Smokin’ Bean coffee offer, Tango Ice Blast, f’real shakes and smoothies, Fwip Ice Cream, Rollover Hot Dogs, Brownings Bakery, ATM, Lottery, and PayPoint.
On opening day customers were able to enjoy free samples of Spar own label products, Smokin’ Bean coffee, Rollover Hot Dogs, and Tango Ice Blast. Also on offer were free goody bags, deals on a number of essential food and drink items, and entry to a free prize draw with prizes including a 24” smart tv and Spar vouchers.
Chauhan said: “I am delighted to be the latest independent retailer to join the successful Spar family in Scotland. I am so happy with the support I have received since moving to Spar and I regret not joining sooner. I am very excited about the future.”
