Accolade Wines has announced major new listings for its ready-to-serve (RTS) Sparkling Collection following the what it calls the “outstanding” success of the range since its launch in April. Selected lines of the Sparkling Collection range, which includes Hardys Peach Bellini, Hardys Strawberry Bellini, Stone’s Ginger Punch, Banrock Station Infusions and Echo Falls Spritz. The Sparkling Collection is seeing increasing listings across the convenience and Cash & Carry channels, as well as in major multiples.
The new listings follow a recent burst of consumer advertising to support the range. A national press campaign saw striking full-page adverts across key target consumer magazines including Stylist, Grazia, Hello, Now and Heat reaching nearly 700,000 target consumers.
Clare Griffiths, European Marketing Director for Accolade Wines says, “Through our comprehensive WineNation study, we knew that consumers were looking for different drinking experiences within the wine sector. In response, we spearheaded the launch of a new category with the new RTS cans from some of our most recognisable brands. The success of the Sparkling Collection to date shows this new category is really resonating with our customers and consumers. We are delighted with the performance of the range to date and these new listings in Tesco and Asda will help build momentum further.”
